Baby Strollers Information

picture of stroller from bugaboostrollers.com There are more and more stroller choices every year. Once you decide what kind of stroller you need, then you need to choose the perfect stroller. There are four main types of strollers. There is the Umbrealla Stroller, Standard Strollers, All-Terrain Strollers and Jogging Strollers. The are numerous web sites that review strollers and allow you to make the best stroller decision for you.

The advantage of an Umbrealla Stroller is the portability and weight. Umbrall strollers collapse easily for storage and portability and are lightweight and easily carried or folded and placed in the trunk. Umbrealla strollers usually weigh less than 16 lbs. Traditionally, umbrella strollers are the lightest, most basic strollers on the market, specifically designed to make day-to-day errands with your child a relatively uncomplicated and straightforward process. These days, the line between umbrella and standard strollers is blurring as urban parents have increasingly come to expect both lightweight functionality and luxury. The top three reviewed umbrealla strollers include the Chicco Tuscany, the Maclaren Triumph and the Inglesina Swift. Graco, Peg Pergo, Combi, and Kolcraft also make highly reviewd umbrealla strollers. Check out the reviews of these Umbrealla strollers on the internet today. Have you seen the new Quinny strollers? They are just not becomming available in the USA. The Quinny Buzz is the most compact folding umbrealla stroller on the market. The European desgin and compact size make it the new hot stroller.

Standard strollers can be part of a travel system that includes a car seat that fits in your stroller. Once your baby outgrowns the car seat, the stroller can still be used. That is what makes travel systems so great. Travel System strollers grow with your baby. The classic standard stroller was a pram--big and heavy and designed for slow ambling walks on paved city park paths. Not anymore! Between the urban jungle and the suburban sandbox, the heavy pram is a relic of the past. Nowadays, a standard stroller must either perform as an all-terrain stroller or be so light, compact, and convenient that it is virtually indistinguishable from an umbrella stroller. It's not unreasonable to expect a variety of added accessories including: a bassinet, cup holders, winter boots, infant carrier accommodations, and plenty of storage space. Some of the highest rated standard strollers include the ever popular Bugaboo Cameleon, the Peg Perego A3 and the Bertini Sport. Bumbleride, InStep, Zooper, Graco, Maclaren, and Inglesina also make highly rated standard strollers.

Although not designed for dedicated joggers, the growing class of all-terrain strollers is a happy change for all those outdoorsy, health-oriented parents. Air-filled rubber tires, true suspension, and increased frame durability make these strollers-designed to handle off-road challenges as easily as the shopping mall, an obvious choice for many parents. The real trick is finding that lightweight and compact all-terrain stroller without compromising the durability or versatility of the stroller. Fortunately, every year brings new innovations that make last year's all-terrain models look a bit sluggish and bulky by comparison. All-terrain strollers are the fasting growning class of strollers. Some of the most highly rated all-terrain strollers include the popular BOB Revolution, Baby Jogger City Series and of course the Bugaboo. The Mountain Buggy and Bertini Sport are also popular. The Bumbleride Rocket, the Bugaboo Frog adn the Zooper Boogie are also very highly reviewed strollers.

Real jogging strollers are not just for real joggers, but for any parent that wants to really go off-road for extended periods of time. Generally, you will find a jogging stroller sporting three at least 16 inch pneumatic wheels which will only track straight and true, meaning no front swivel wheel. These strollers are designed to function at an optimal level for parents that want to keep fit by hiking, jogging, or running. Each year new and better innovations are added-making them easier to run with, stow, and more comfortable for your little passengers. Note: running with your jogging stroller is not recommended before your child is 6 months old. Some of the most popular jogging strollers include the BOB Sport Utility Stroller, the Kelty Joyrider and the BOB Ironman (available at REI). Dreamer offers two jogging strollers as well as InStep and Baby Trend.

Choosing the right stroller can be hard, especially since there are so many choices. Do your homework. There are plenty of stroller reviews on the internet. Read what others have to say about thier strollers and then try them out.

I could not decide between the Bugaboo and the Bumbleride Rocket. They both look great and have the bigger tires I was interested in. I choose the Bumbleride becasue of the cheaper cost and the great colors. I have not ben sorry. i love my Bumbleride. Someone compliments this stroller everytime I go out.
