Taggies Baby Toys & Taggies Blankets

Taggies was invented by a young mother who recognized that her infant was often more interested in the satin tags on toys and clothing than the object itself. An early childhood teacher, she took the idea to a new level by creating a soft security blanket with assorted tags adorning all four sides. It was the first TAGGIE! She found that she had touched a nerve when moms from her child’s playgroup were clamoring for a TAGGIE. Then they took the concept even further, suggesting that they go into business making and selling TAGGIES and their first “commercial” venture, a craft show, sold out in two hours! And Taggies, Inc. was born!



Now Taggies offers many products along with their line of security blankets. The new products are almost endless - but babies love their Taggies. From newborn to child there is a Taggie product for everyone. Taggies are also great developmental tools that aid babies in normal development. They learn to scoot or roll trying to get that taggie! They learn texture by rubbing the taggies between their fingers. There are so many great things about Taggies besides the great security they provide that every new baby should have a Taggie blanket.

My son love the tags on anything. I don't have any taggie products because they seem overpriced.

I met the two moms who invented Taggies at Dillards. What a great idea. I wish I had thought of Taggies.
